Jamin out in Music Club

This week in Music Club has been a blast.  Mr. Meyers opened club with reading about the spiritual awakenings of composures and how their positivity was where it all started.  Afterward we sang a bunch of songs.  Our favorite part of class is when we get to practice!  Check us out!

Reading directions. Sounds simple enough right? In Cooking Club today, we were told to “DIY”: Do It Yourself. We got out two recipes, lemon muffins and brownies. We found out, much to our dismay, when we took the brownies out of the oven that we did not follow the directions quite right. Next time, we will be more careful and listen although the treats were still delicious.

Saturday of Scrapbooking

Last Saturday we had a scrapbooking craft.  We got to use our pictures to make scrapbook pages.  This was one of my favorite activities because I get to show off my creativity.  It was really fun to get to see all of the girl's style.  I got a lot of fun ideas for next time!

One Day NOT Homeless :)

Our Homeless students even got to participate in the festivities.  The students from the campuses had the opportunity to donate their ledger dollars, if they chose, to sponsor a homeless student.  The results were overwhelming.  Each student needed $200 donated for them to participate, and each one got to spend the day inside with the other students.  They even get to go to the movie theater tomorrow.  It was so much fun to watch them, they really appreciated everything.  What a great opportunity to both give and receive.  I love my job!
