Drama Club and Westside Story

In Drama Club today, we watched “Westside Story” and played improvisation games. We were watching “Westside Story” to learn choreography. Every few minutes, Jordan would stop a scene and explain the movement and how it is all planned out.

Afterward, we playing fun little improv games called Settings and Ninety-second Alphabet. In Settings you have to keep your character and change him/her to the environments that are constantly changing.

In Ninety-second alphabet, you have to maintain a conversation with each sentence starting with “A, B, C, D, etc.” We came up with some pretty hysterical moments! Soon, the club will be watching “Singing in the Rain.”
