As we walked out of the Big Building, the warm sunshine happily greeted us. The 4H girls, a female staff, and I walked the short distance from the Big Building to the cabin so that we could meet up with our club leader, Mr. Force. We all piled into the van with great enthusiasm. We then drove down to St. George with smiles plastered on our faces. We were going to the 4H extension office where we were going to teach groups of younger youth how to create fun projects that we had previously learned at workshops and practiced at the Ranch. We set up our four stations, each teaching five other youth. The stations taught various arts and/or crafts: How to make chocolate rice crispie treats; bath fizzies; lotions and potions; and lip balm. All the kids enjoyed themselves, but especially the 4H girls. The smiles on their faces definitely brightened our day! Passing the knowledge on was as difficult as learning it, but very enjoyable.
